Audit Staff
Position Description:
- Understand and apply audit theories and procedures
- Identify and resolve audit issues
- Complete tasks to expand accounting and auditing knowledge
- Developing relationships with clients, demonstrate professionalism and dedication to clients
- Establish a network with peers for future practice development opportunities
Position Qualifications:
- Nonprofit/government experience a plus
- Experience preparing tax returns a plus
- Professional image and positive attitude
- Willingness to take directions and learn from senior staff
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledgeable of various spreadsheet programs (tax software a plus)
- Problem solving ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good work ethic
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Audit In-Charge
Position Description:
- Understand and apply audit theories and procedures
- Identify and resolve audit issues
- Focus efforts on managing the team and key client staff to effectively meet and exceed the client needs/expectations
- Identifies client business issues to be addressed by team
- Develops ideas to help clients with operational and control opportunities
- Developing relationships with clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities
- Develop client presentations and participate in proposal opportunities
- Thorough and effective in review of staff work product while providing constructive feedback and identifying staff developmental needs
- Develops appropriate budgets and manages actual time in relation to the budgets
Position Qualifications:
- Prior audit experience with public accounting firm or government agency
- Experience managing staff on engagements
- Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns a plus
- Self motivated with good work ethic
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledgeable of various spreadsheet programs (tax software a plus)

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Audit Manager
Position Description:
- Identify and resolve audit issues
- Identifies risk areas for the engagement team
- Focus efforts on difficult audit, tax, and personnel issues without compromising the client relationship
- Identifies issues, appropriately assesses impact and develops appropriate plan for resolution
- Effectively handles multiple engagements
- Maintains appropriate level of supervision and work product review
- Promotes and open environment conducive to knowledge sharing, and candid and timely feedback
- Uses effective coaching skills for on-the-job training of in-charges and staff
- Developing relationships with clients, including involvement in networking and practice development activities
- Participate in the formal proposal process
